Senad Delic, 37 ans, vit à la limite d'un champ de mines. Sa maison est à moins de 10 mètres ; il a un enfant et des neveux qui y vivent également. Il entre régulierement dans la zone dangereuse pour y couper du bois qu'il vend afin de gagner de quoi vivre. Une voisine a perdu ses deux fils en 1996 après qu'ils aient joué avec un obus non-explosé.
